Celebrating Our 5th Anniversary at Lou Malnati’s Gold Coast

Yesterday, Monday, July 4th, 2016 we celebrated the 5th anniversary of Lou Malnati’s Gold Coast!

5 years ago, we opened our Gold Coast location at 1120 N. State Street. It’s our flagship location, and is still the largest Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria to date. There are lots of things to love about this pizzeria, but in honor of its 5th anniversary, here are 5 things we love about Lou Malnati’s Gold Coast…

1.It looks really cool! Each Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria has its own unique design and décor, and our Gold Coast pizzeria is no exception. The distinctive design is industrial with a vintage twist. It definitely creates a unique dining experience!

(Fun fact: When the restaurant was under construction, we re-purposed the wood floor from Anthropologie, the previous occupant of the space, to create the wood paneling on the walls!)

2.The bar – with big screen TVs, a great selection of beer, wine, and signature drinks, and of course, deep dish pizza, who wouldn’t want to watch the game at Gold Coast Lou’s?!

3.They really know how to throw a great party… because there are twoprivate event spaces! There’s no better place to host a rehearsal dinner, corporate gathering, or holiday party.

4.They give back.Just to name a few of the ways… Our Gold Coast pizzeria has a partnership with Zero Percent to donate leftover food to feed people in need. Additionally, in 2015, our Gold Coast pizzeria was a part of the Gold Coast Grub Crawl, a fundraising collaboration with five other Gold Coast restaurants that raised money for the Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute.  Learn more about community efforts at Gold Coast Lou’s ›

5. Last but not least… this restaurant is practically a celebrity. It has been featured on shows like TLC’s Long Island Medium, FYI’s Food Porn, and most recently Vice’s MUNCHIES, among others.
