For more than 50 years, the Malnati family has been perfecting Chicago’s deep dish tradition in their pizzerias—built on quality ingredients and time-honored recipes. What started in Lincolnwood, Illinois in 1971 continues today, still driven by family, pride, and true Chicago spirit.
Flossmoor comes with its own unique history. In 1977, just before Lou Malnati passed away, he opened a pizzeria in Flossmoor at this exact spot on Vollmer Road. Unfortunately, despite the Malnati family’s best efforts, this restaurant closed in 1978. In 2016, Lou’s returned to Flossmoor to once again provide its residents with carryout, pizza delivery, and catering services! In addition, this Lou’s location also serves the towns of Country Club Hills, Homewood, Hazel Crest and more.
