Lou Malnati’s Lincoln Square/North Center: A Designer’s Perspective
The opening of Lincoln Square/North Center Lou’s is just days away. As we add those last finishing touches, we’re also looking back at how far our newest pizzeria has come. From its beginnings as The Golden Angel, to the complete tear down and rebuild, a lot of work has gone into this project, but it was definitely worth the labor of love!
Each Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria is unique in its own way and when asked about the design of Lincoln Square/North Center Lou’s, Interior Designer Cat Won said,
For Lincoln Square/North Center, we wanted to evoke a retro atmosphere reminiscent of childhood family vacations throughout the 1950’s & 60’s. Sunshine, Winnebagos, muted blues/greens and oranges and a live green wall are just some of the inspiration that went into bringing the decor alive. The exterior neon sign is the first thing guests will notice, with its nostalgic 60’s design that truly screams “this is a place to have fun!”.
Take a peek at Cat’s Instagram photo diary for an inside look at what goes into building and designing a new Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria!
Lincoln Square/North Center Lou’s opens on Monday, May 4th at 4pm. Come out and see it in person!
